Daniel T. Johnson, age 60, of Green Bay, formerly of Rock, MI passed away Monday, August 16, 2010 at the ManorCare- West Nursing Home in Green Bay.

Daniel was born January 20, 1950 in Escanaba, Michigan, the son of Onni Axel and Doris Joyce (Norden) Johnson. He was raised in the Rock area, graduated from Rock High School and remained a lifelong resident. Daniel drove truck for the Lindberg Construction Company in Ishpeming for over 20 years. He was also a bartender at Herb’s Bar in Rock for several years. Daniel enjoyed visiting with family and friends and was a loving father, grandfather and friend to all.

Daniel is survived by:

2 Daughters: Joely (Aaron) Lund of Green Bay, Wisconsin; Shasta (Ernest) Oberst of Columbia, South Carolina

1 Son: Andrew Johnson of Escanaba

4 Grandchildren: Skyler and Reese Lund and Jaden and Landon Oberst

3 Brothers: Larry Johnson of Rock, Michigan; Pastor Jeffery (Mary) Johnson of Guam; and Criag (Debbie) Johnson of Green Bay, Wisconsin

Numerous nieces and nephews

Special friends, Richard, Beth, Lynn, Em and Mary Johnson, mother of Daniel’s son Andrew.

Daniel was preceeded in death by her parents and a sister, Diane Johnson.

Daniel’s family will receive friends on Saturday, August 28 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Memorial services will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Johnson officiating.
