Ann L. Parker, age 67, of 5 Maple View Drive, Gladstone, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday morning August 6, 2010 at her residence in Gladstone.
Ann was born February 9, 1943 in Eau Claire, WI the daughter of George and June (Gorton) Cass. She was raised in Eau Claire where she was a 1961 graduate of Memorial High School.
Ann was united in marriage to Dan Parker on October 18, 1962 in Barron County, WI. Following their marriage they moved to Ft. Stewart, GA where Dan was stationed in the U.S. Army. They lived on numerous military bases throughout the U.S. and Germany while Dan served his country in the military for 20 years. Upon Dan’s retirement in 1981 they made their home in Rapid River until moving to Gladstone in 1991.
Over the last twenty years, Ann was an active participant at Harbor Lights Church of God and Grace Church, both located in Gladstone. She treasured spending time with her children and grandchildren. Ann enjoyed volunteering her time at local nursing homes and the Women’s Shelter. She loved traveling with her husband of 47 years, Dan, and sharing her faith wherever she went. Ann also enjoyed reading Christian literature.

Judy Loga of Tucson, AZ
10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins
In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Doug and Steve Cass.
Ann’s family will receive friends on Monday August 9, 2010 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Funeral services celebrating the life of Ann L. Parker will follow at 5:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone with Rev. Stephen Patrick of Grace Church and Rev. Tony Morrison of Harbor Lights Church of God officiating. Luncheon will follow services at the Grace Church in Gladstone. Memorial contributions in memory of Ann may be directed to the donor’s favorite charity in memory of Ann.
