Jeff Waeghe was born in 1953 in Escanaba and was raised in Escanaba. After his 1971 graduation from the Escanaba Area High School, he attended Bay de Noc Community College in Delta County and received his degree in funeral service from the San Francisco College of Mortuary Science in 1976. Jeff later purchased the Skradski Funeral Home in 1979 from its founders, John and Marcella Skradski, who became his mentors and his "second set of parents."
Jeff is married to the former Paula J. Eschenbach and together have a daughter, Amelia.
Jeff's hobbies include swimming and yard work, but being at home or the cottage with his family gives him the most pleasure.
